Owls are very popular all over the world since they have mysterious atmosphere and friendly image. I also like Owls because they are cute and look like clever. Then, I’d like to introduce about Owls.
They are nocturnal bird and live forest, and they eat mice or rabbits. Their eyes are very useful to catch the prey, since they can see little and distant things even if they are in dark place. I think this characteristic makes mysterious image as “the birds which have a foresight” in Aesop’s Fables.
Since Owls are also said to clever, they sometimes use as a symbol of library. That image causes the superstitions all over the world. For example, In Greek myths, owls are said to “the birds manage scholarship, art, and intelligence”. In Europe, owls are the symbol of wisdom and trust.
Moreover, Owls said to the bird bring good luck in Korea and Japan. Every Korean family put the savings box shaped Owls on their home as the auspicious god. And Owls are called “Hukurou” in Japanese, it means “not to have trouble”, and “age richly.”
In addition, Owls have big eyes and cute mannerisms, and I think it makes friendly image for many people. Recently, many goods of Owls are sold, and sometimes Owls exhibition are held all over the world. They also appeared on the movie, “Harry Potter,” and flourished very much. It is very interesting that Owl have many fans though they don’t live near of us.
Therefore, we can say Owls are very popular all over the world because they are not only cute, but also have a lot of good images.

A Beach at Sunset
On fair day’s evening, we can spend comfortable time on the beach.
It’s popular to doing barbeque party in summer evening. Some adults are talking and laughing with drinking beer, and some children are running on the edge of the surf. There are some couples are sitting and seeing the gradation of the evening sky by sunset. It is very beautiful to change the color of the sky from orange, red to purple as it gets dark. After the sunset, some stars start to shine on the sky. Then, cool sea breeze also makes people calm down. The sound of the wave is pretty good to listen. They heal the heart of people who was tired in daytime.
We can relax, and calm down on the beach at sunset on fair day because calm sea and sky make us be comfortable.

University of the Ryukyus
University of the Ryukyus have the third biggest land in Japanese Universities, and there are a lot of greens in it.
When I was a high school student, my friend and I came here by bus to observe the campus. We wanted to go to the “law and literature building”, but we took off the bus the other side of there. Then, we had to walk across the campus to reach to there. It took about forty mimutes, I was very surprised at the scale of University of the Ryukyus.
It’s very tired for students to move in the campus, but I think it’s one of the advantages of here. Because it contains lots of greens that make people comfortable. And there is a large lake named “senbaruike”; and many animals and birds live around there. When I take a walk in the campus, I always relax and feel good. I think it’s very fortunate for us to study in such a nice environment, University of the Ryukyus.

My work place
I have the part time job at “Max value”, the super market, in Shintosin. It has large selling space sorted by vegetables, fishes, meats, frozen foods, cold storages, and food products.
I always work in the place of food products to fill up them, and I sometimes go back warehouse to bring products. Warehouse is connected by a narrow passage, and customers can’t come in from there. In there, many dollies lined up, and lots of stocks are piled them. It usually be tidy, but on Monday, it is filled by many dollies that arrived from delivery center. Since we can’t move if we fill up dollies too much, we divide up products using other spaces. Drinks or beers are move to the room of meats, and Cup noodles, seasonings, and snacks are move to the room of fishes. We remain diapers, toilet papers, shampoos in warehouse, or bring them to selling space. It’s very hard work for me to carry these many and heavy products, but we have to work out over without finishing our works!

My room
Since I share the room with my sister, I will describe about it. It is six tatami mat room, and it doesn’t have the air conditioner. But It has two windows, I think it is comfortable for us. When you open the door, you can see our desks; the left one is mine, and the right one is my sister’s. My desk is always piled papers, books, and clothes, and it’s messier than another one. I have my own bookshelf opposite of my desk. I usually line up magazines, books, and files in it, but they are not separated clearly. There is our chest by my desk; the upper one is mine, and the lower one is my sister’s. I also line up many books on it. I want to arrange the books around my desks till this year.
How to make French toast
I like French toast very much, and I often make and eat it on weekend morning. Today, I describe how to make French toast that is a little bit sweeter than normal one.
First, you need to prepare six slice of bread, two hundred fifty cc of milk, a hundred cc of yolk, and fifty gram of sugar. Second, you put milk and half of sugar in a pot, and boil it. After boil, you mix yolk and another half of sugar in a bowl, and add boiled milk with mixing.
Next, you boil it again by low heat about two minutes. if it becomes slightly viscous, it’s perfection of souse. Finally, you dip bread into it, and bake their both faces. If you want to make it sweeter, I think you can dust it a little sugar before baking.
I like to spread strawberry jam or maple syrup on it before eating. With a cup of tea, it’s very delicious. If you want to eat something sweet in weekend morning, I recommend it, French toast.

How to Clean Your House After a Party
After a party, I probably think that I want to clean my house more comfortable than before. It’s similar to year-end cleaning, but I will describe how to clean up my house.
Before cleaning, I change into mobile cloth. First, I collect trash like plastic bottles and cans and separate it to throw away. Second, I collect all messed dishes and wash it. If there are some left over, I bring it one and throw it away. Next, I wash all dirty carpets and clothes by party. After washing, I wipe and defog the windows with dump clothes.
Then, I run a vacuum cleaner all wooden floor and tatami. To make floors cleaner, I wipe the floors with wet rag. Finally, I make a sweep the entrance and wash out all dirt. After a cleaning, I take a bath and relax in the cleaned room.
